Step 3. Check Utility Programs

• Before we move any further, we research whether there are any incentives or rebates available from the utility for the measures we propose.  These will be reflected in our proposal.
  
  
• This can be an important part of the proposed project.  In some cases, incentives from the utility have paid 100% of the project costs with 50% being the most common when the incentives exist.
