The Powerit Solutions Process

Step 5. Implement
- Once we receive the approval to proceed, it is time to get working! We immediately send a Powerit Systems Implementation (SI) engineer to your site for a site walk through. This site walk through is similar to the initial site audit but much more detailed.
- The SI engineer will meet with the installation contractor and plant operators to create a detailed specification of how, exactly, the equipment and/or systems to be utilized for load shedding or cycling should be integrated into the automation scheme and how they should be utilized. From this work the installation, panel manufacturing and programming specifications can be written.
The SI engineer will develop a detailed project schedule and work flow that will be provided to you so you may plan appropriately.
- The systems controllers are configured and shipped to the site along with the applicable environmental enclosures and field relays.
- These systems are highly pre-engineered and include detailed drawings so there is no need for a specialized “Powerit” installer. We encourage the use of your preferred contractor since their familiarity with the site and your preferences can be important. Although we typically include all elements of the project in our scope, this means that self-install is an option. Powerit can include installation as part of the turnkey offering or we can project manage the install separately.
- Once the system is installed, the assigned Powerit SI Engineer will be onsite to confirm the connections and operation. They will then make any final site configuration changes to the system and test the programming. Finally, they will load any necessary software on plant PCs and configure any reports.
